Riate Fisher – Associate

Riate qualified as a chartered accountant in 2011 after completing her articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Riate worked as an audit manager for a year before she transferred to PwC’s Corporate Taxation division specializing in the financial services industry.

She completed her Master’s degree in taxation in 2015 at the University of Pretoria. Riate has over five years of corporate taxation experience which includes assurance services, compliance and consulting. Her portfolio included the following groups of companies: MMI Holdings, OUTsurance, Naspers, Standard Bank as well FirstRand.

Riate resigned from PwC after the birth of her second child in 2016 in order to achieve a better work/life balance and to spend more time with her two young children. She is passionate about tax and joined Nubis.Tax as an associate in September 2017 in order to add value to clients and to assist them with their tax challenges.
